Absolutely ridiculous. Could not place an order due to your stupid website not letting me type in the entire address! People live in long named places. Fix it or you'll lose a LOT of business
No one is ever available on the Live Chat function, I have never gotten a rep on the phone before spending over 2 hours on hold, and its taken WEEKS to email me back-this is BEFORE Covid-19 delays. Shame on me for giving them another chance.

I made my purchase on March 19 2021. Delivery date was set for March 29 2021. It is now March 31 and products still have not been received. When I called I was told that due to covid my product is still in NY. Totally understandable that covid has disrupted shipments however, Tarte should have a blanket statement on their website letting customers know that products may be delayed by 2 - 3 weeks.
I had ordered the 3 mini mascaras for $25.00. I hadn't received them for awhile, so I dedcided to look online at my orders to see if it said anything. It didn't even show that I had ordered the 3 mini mascaras! I was sure I did, so to be sure I looked on my bank account and $25.00 WAS taken out from Tarte! I called them to see what's going on. They looked me up and said that I DID NOT ORDER THE 3 MINI MASCARAS! I told them that I did and that they took it out of my bank account from my debit card! They still insisted they didn't! They were pleasant enough about it and the woman said that she'll look into this and call me back. She said it may take a day or two, that was fine with me, I just wanted to find out what happened to my order. Strangely enough, I received the mascaras the next day! I was happy! I called to tell them and they were nice about it and seemed glad that I received it. But, they didn't have ANY record that I ordered those mascaras. At least I did get them, but if I hadn't, they would have had NO record (for some reason) I did have it on my bank app on my phone, so I would have had to get my bank statement mailed to me before they usually did and mailed it to Tarte to prove to them that they charged me! Luckily, that didn' t happen! I would like to say that they were very nice through all of this, I did end up speaking with 2 different people. They obviously just don't have great record keeping! They should have had that in record, somewhere that I ordered it. I would like to add that the all 3 mascaras are AWESOME! The camera, lights action is my favorite so far among the 3. The 3 that came with that are: Lights, Camera, Action--Big Ego--Maneater... I have only tried the last 2 one time, but they seem great! I was really impressed with the Lights, Camera, Action! It really appears to make your lashes long and thick! No clumping. Yet! I would say the 3 of them seem to have ALOT of product in them an the brushes are loaded with mascara! No dryness! You know, those mascaras that look so dried out and the're new! Not the case! If you happen to see the 3 mini mascara sale again, TRY THEM! I think they are about 3/4 of a regular tube, that's pretty good for a good mascara for about $8.33 a tube! Especially if you usually pay $15-$25 for one!
i love tarte cosmetics and they have some great sales and lovely vegan,clean beauty products,and the website is always up to date. i do love other brands also. i buy with my pro discount program so it helps alot with their gaurantee money back program as well. i do trust there products. xoxo tartlette
I'm from Portugal and I placed an order on December 29th.
On December 31st the order was sent and I started to check the tracking information.
Since the 4th of January they have not updated the information anymore and I don't know where my order is, which was supposed to have arrived on the 10th of January.
I contacted Tarte to ask for information to find out where it was and the only thing they were able to say was that due to the pandemic situation there may be delays. Ok, I understand that, but Covid doesn't affect the tracking systems, so they have to know where my order is.
I still don't receive or know anything about my products...

I have bought this product several times, just because there are not many other options for NON waterproof liquid eyeliners. Every time I buy it, it's great for about a week and I am happy. Then, inevitably, the ink starts coming out in huge globs and runs into my eye, painfully and uncomfortably smearing my makeup and making me rinse my eyes and reapply everything. I have been applying liquid eyeliner for years, and have achieved pretty nice, thin winged lines with other brands of liner. However, when they are sold out or only available in waterproof, I opt for the maneater and hate myself for doing so every time. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this overpriced messy product.
I've been using make up from this company for almost 8 years now. It is by far the best cosmetic line I have ever used. I am a professional make up artist and I use this for almost all of my jobs. I perform so well in last so very long. They have great prices awesome customer service and they do a ton of wonderful sales all throughout the year
I received two egift cards for Tarte this Christmas. I had $150 and $25 gift card for this company and was planning purchasing one of their most expensive items, the park ave princess vault which was worth $160. When I was trying to place the order it kept saying the second gift card was invalid. I ended up calling customer service and they stated they had a gift card policy of only using one gift card per order. The item I wanted was worth the value of both cards and they refused to let me use them. They said I would have to use my own money (that was worth the second gift card) and only use one. This expensive item already did not allow promotions or coupons and I was being forced to use my own money even though I had gift cards that were the exact amount I needed to buy this item.
I was forced to find an item I did not want to use the second gift card and had to pay shipping just so I did not waste that gift and also had to pay for part of the first item.
Further looking into the gift card policy, I could not find anywhere where it said I could only use one. I am not using their products and am encouraging friends and family to never purchase gift cards from them. It was such a ridiculous policy and I cannot believe they would not help me to out and accept their own gift cards.
Honestly the best customer service I have ever experienced.
I ordered a package a while ago and there was unfortunately an issue that was totally out of their hands (it was opened during the long delivery across the world to be checked). I made them aware of the problem and they made no fuss about it and completely resolved my issue as quickly as possible.
After that problem I continued to order from them after they impressed me so much with their customer service and I’m very pleased to say I’ve not had anymore issues since.
All of Tarte's products have quite good quality, however, only a few products truly blow it out of the park - namely Tarte Shape Tape and the Toasted Eyeshadow palette. In general, all of their products are easy to use and very pigmented. Shipping costs a flat rate of $10, and takes about 2-3 weeks to arrive. I've never tried contacting their customer service before, but I've heard they are really good!
11/30/2020 Tried placing an order but kept getting this message Your order could not be submitted. Please double check your billing address, credit card number and CVV carefully so we can get you your order asap! Thank you for your patience! Called customer service followed all their advice and still nothing worked all cards have been charged? What is going on here. Keep saying something is wrong with my information I keep telling them all my cards work and no where near their limits. 15 different cards and had two other people try with there information and address and guess what they also were not able to make a purchase. Tartecosmetics you really need to get this fixed! Happly went to other places and made purchases on each card over 700 each and guess what none of those sales went to you and none were declined hmmmmmmm? They also shipped my items from a previouse sale in a flimsy box that had items missing from a previous order my two year old could pack better. Pictures submitted still waiting on refund?
I ordered on the 28th October and received shipment confirmation the next day. Since then tracking has been showing in New York for over 4 weeks. I contacted them on their website today (to be fair, very quick and friendly response) and was told my order had been lost, they cannot resend internationally (UK) and will issue a refund. I am really disappointed as this was on their kit offer that they only do once a year, and have been waiting for it. I will wait to receive my refund and will not be ordering from tarte again unfortunately.
